74LS153 is a member of the 74XXYY Ic series. 74LS153 is a fully complementary, on-chip, binary decoding data selection to the AND-OR gates. Separator strobe inputs are provided for each of the two four-time sections. The 74LS153 IC has a wide range of working voltage, a wide range of working conditions, and directly interfaces with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL. The output of the IC always comes in TTL which makes it easy to work with other TTL devices and microcontrollers. The IC 74LS153 is smaller in size and it has a much faster speed which makes it reliable in every kind of device.

A multiplexer is a combinational logic circuit that switches one of several input lines to a single common output line. The select lines determine which input is connected to the output, and also to increase the amount of data that can be sent over a network within a certain time. It is also called a data selector.
