74LS155 is a member of the 74XXYY family of TTL logic gates. The design is intended for the chip to be used in high-performance memory-decoding or data-routing applications, requiring very short propagation delay times. The output of the IC always comes in TTL which makes it easy to work with other TTL devices and microcontrollers. The IC 74LS155 is smaller in size and it has a much faster speed which makes it reliable in every kind of device.
A demultiplexer is a combinational logic circuit designed to switch one common input line to one of several separate output line. So, A demultiplexer converts a serial data signal at the input to a parallel data at its output lines.
