Product Overview

The XBee Breakout Board v2 is an essential prototyping accessory designed to bridge the gap between XBee RF modules and standard breadboards or perfboards. Because standard XBee and Zigbee wireless modules use a 2.0mm pin spacing, they cannot directly plug into traditional 2.54mm (0.1 inch) pitch breadboards. This breakout board resolves this mismatch by converting all 20 pins of your XBee module to standard 2.54mm dual inline pin headers.

Technical Specifications and Features

Engineered for maximum utility in wireless embedded projects, the v2 revision features a compact double-sided PCB design with clearly labeled pinouts for effortless wiring. The board includes two 10-pin 2.0mm female socket headers pre-soldered to securely house Series 1, Series 2, PRO, and other compatible XBee form-factor modules. Breakout pads accommodate standard 0.1-inch male headers, making it seamlessly compatible with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and STM32.
