Powered by a standard 12V DC source, this smart thermostat module acquires real-time thermal telemetry using an ultra-sensitive NTC 10K 0.5% waterproof thermistor probe. Capable of measuring and controlling ambient or liquid environments across a broad temperature range from -50 degrees Celsius to 110 degrees Celsius, it provides high-resolution control down to 0.1 degrees Celsius within critical operational bands.
Robust Relay Output and Energy Efficiency
Integrated onto the board is a heavy-duty single-channel switching relay rated for up to 20A at 125V AC or 20A at 14V DC. This high output capacity allows the microcontroller to safely toggle high-power heating elements, refrigeration compressors, thermoelectric Peltier coolers, or industrial fans. The circuit is optimized for low power consumption, requiring less than 10 mA during quiescent standby and drawing under 65 mA when the relay pull-in coil is energized. A rapid 0.5-second refresh cycle ensures continuous monitoring and quick response to sudden thermal shifts.
Intuitive User Interface and Diagnostic Codes
Configuring operational setpoints is straightforward using the onboard tactile pushbuttons and bright three-digit red LED display. Users can adjust target trigger thresholds, modify delay start timing, and calibrate hysteresis settings to prevent rapid relay cycling. Integrated LED indicators display active relay operation and delay sequences. For maximum circuit protection, the controller incorporates automatic error diagnostics: displaying LL if the sensor probe is open or disconnected, and HH if measured temperatures fall outside the sensor boundary, instantly forcing relay shutdown to prevent equipment damage.
