Advanced Protection for Single-Cell Lithium-Ion Batteries
The 1S 3.7V Li-ion Battery BMS Charger Protection Module provides essential safety management and extended cell life for single-cell 3.7V nominal (4.2V fully charged) Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer batteries, including popular 18650, 14500, and LiPo pouch cells. Featuring integrated high-precision voltage detection ICs and low internal resistance power MOSFETs, this module actively monitors battery parameters during both charge and discharge cycles.
Comprehensive Four-Fold Safety Circuitry
Designed to mitigate severe hazards associated with lithium chemistries, this protection board includes continuous monitoring across four critical areas:
Overcharge Protection: Automatically terminates charging when cell voltage reaches the safe threshold of 4.25V, preventing thermal runaway and dielectric breakdown.
Over-discharge Protection: Cuts off load supply when cell voltage falls to 2.50V, preserving chemistry health and preventing permanent capacity loss.
Overcurrent Protection: Detects excessive load current demands and temporarily isolates the power output to shield the battery and PCB trace integrity.
Short Circuit Protection: Instantly disconnects power under direct short circuit conditions to prevent catastrophic overheating and fire hazards.
Wide Range of Applications
Its ultra-slim form factor makes this BMS board ideal for spot-welding directly onto battery cell terminals. It is widely utilized in custom DIY power banks, wireless IoT sensor nodes, portable handheld electronics, LED lighting solutions, solar energy storage units, and medical devices where compact size and high reliability are required.
