This AI Vision Camera Module Kit with ESP32-S3 is newly rolled out by Nerokas Experimental Learning Centre (NELC). It simulates intelligent camera systems and demonstrates how machines can “see” and understand the visual world around them. It delivers strong STEAM educational value: Science (image processing), Technology (AI hardware acceleration and wireless), Engineering (camera integration and system design), Arts (creative vision-based projects), and Mathematics (algorithms and data processing). The S3 mini development board is based on the Espressif ESP32-S3 WROOM-1-N16R8 module. It features a powerful dual-core Xtensa LX7 MCU with a main frequency of up to 240MHz. The board integrates 16MB FLASH and 8MB SRAM, along with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and low-power Bluetooth (Bluetooth LE). It offers rich interfaces including Type-C for serial communication, Type-C OTG, an RGB LED, and GPIO pin headers spaced at 25.5mm, making it very convenient for quick development and experiments.
